Canton, GA

The City of Canton contract, awarded in 2007, includes the operation of the City's 5.45 MGD surface water treatment facility, elevated tanks, and water distribution system. We perform meter installations, meter repairs, service connects, and disconnects for the 21,000 citizens of Canton.

The sewage collection system utilizes 38 lift stations to pump influent to the recently renovated wastewater treatment facility. We maintain the system and track activities through a computerized maintenance management system. The treatment facility was expanded from 2.5MGD to 4.0MGD and a Sequencing Batch Reactor process has been included. The wastewater stream represents a blend of domestic and heavy industrial waste flow. Other project responsibilities include sludge dewatering, hauling and disposal.
