Utility Partners signed a contract with the Governors Academy to provide labor only contract O&M services on July 1, 2011. This agreement includes the operation, maintenance, and management of the wastewater facility. Our staff charged with oversight of the school's 7 pumping stations and grease traps.

Governors Academy is located in Byfield, MA. The wastewater treatment facility includes a 0.052 MGD activated sludge membrane treatment facility. Influent passes through the headworks of the facility where grit and screenings are removed. There are a series of aeration tanks with blowers with permeate pumps in the MBR section which aids in waste removal. Disinfection is accomplished through Ultra-Violet lighting. The collection system on the campus of Governors Academy is approximately 16,000 feet long.
