This contract is located in southern Mississippi on the Gulf of Mexico and consists of the operation, maintenance, and management of the HCUA's 12 wastewater treatment facilities.

The plants range in flow capacity from less than 1 MGD to over 12 MGD. The HCUA utilizes a number of different types of processes that include traditional activated sludge, extended aeration, trickling filter, and sequencing batch reactor plants. The facilities are spread over a twenty-five (25) mile area and are integrated using technology resources.

Through a Wide Area Network (WAN) our maintenance director and operations supervisor monitor the daily input of process data at each facility from our central operations base. The Harrison County project also utilizes a central lab to process standard parameters like BOD, TSS, Fecal, Nitrates, and other process control procedures.
