Utility Partners signed a contract with Merrimack County to provide labor only contract services on December 1, 2011. This agreement includes the operation, maintenance, and management of the wastewater treatment facility.

A combined flow from the Merrimack County prison facility and nursing home produce an average daily flow of 0.05 MGD and it design capacity of 0.08 MGD. Flow is gravity fed into the wastewater treatment facility where grit and screenings are removed. The facility has aerated lagoons and utilizes chlorination for disinfection purposes. Our staff checks the monitoring wells on-site and performs laboratory testing.
